The Plan

South Iceland Adventure - 5 Days

This wonderful guided adventure to the South East of Iceland is a great way to get everything that the southern coast of Iceland has to offer. In addition to what is offered in the 3 day tour, we will stay two nights near the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where we can venture further east, namely to Heinabergslón Lagoon and Stokksnes Peninsula and Vestrahorn Mountain.

On our return to Reykjavik, we will stay an additional night near Eyjafjallajökull Glacier and see the Golden Circle on the last day.

Some of the highlights of the tour include Thorsmörk, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Skógafoss Waterfall, Kvernufoss Waterfall, Geysir, Golden Waterfall, Thingvellir National Park, Fjarðárgljúfur Gorge, Skaftafell National Park, Lómagnúpur Mountain, Stjórnarfoss Waterfall, Foss á Síðu and Vatnajökull Glacier.

With a three-day Jökulsárlon Glacier Lagoon Adventure we would normally divide the trip as follows:

Day 1: Thorsmörk and Eyfjallajökull Adventure

Day 2: Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon Adventure

Day 3: Stokksnes Peninsula, Vestrahorn Mountain, and Heinabergslón Lagoon.

Day 4: Waterfalls and Volcanoes Adventure

Day 5: Golden Circle Adventure
